Root Anyone Familiar with the midnight Theme?

Ok I have been beating my head against the wall with the Midnight Theme.

I love the look of it but cant seem to get it to work right.

I have tried many things. Running Superdark ROM for Dj05 with 12.19 stupidfast and 1.54 stupid fast kernels for Dj05/Dl09, and also the cleanv3, and the adryn_0121_uv Kernels. Using the Dj05 the midnight theme will go into FC hell after unlock...I tried a fix I found over on XDA about doing a Dalvik Cache clean and fix permissions, still didnt work.

So I moved over to Dl09, and was running two different ROMs (The most recent is Suprahclean 04. With the 1230 non voodoo kernel. this one the theme loads and looks awesome. Everything works great except reboot. When I long press the power key it gives me the vibrate but then the screen is stuck on the home screen and nothing happens, then it reboots itself (all of a sudden I see the boot animation). I tried the Dalvik cache and permissions fix there also and no go.

Anyone got any idea whats wrong or how to fix this. I am using CW Red (the new one updated to allow for Dl30, not voodoo) to flash this stuff.

I tried to post a thread in the XDA forum for this theme, but I am not allowed to post in the Dev threads since I have less than 10 posts in XDA.

if you are on dl09 you shouldnt be using froyo clockwork recovery...but as for your specific theme issue...idk

I loaded it so I would have it when I found a good solid Dl30. I asked and was assured that as long as I am not running voodoo, the CW red will work with the Dj05/Dl09 with no problems...

eh, i guess if others have tried it and its ok...then fine...personally i wouldnt have used it if i wasnt on froyo...but thats me

I did even think that was the issue and tried to Odin back to the old green CW, but it didnt work. So how would one go about removing the red and going back to green...any ideas?

I guess if you flashed the new Froyo CWR zip while you flashed your DL30 rom, and it still says voodoo in red...that's fine. Mine says the same thing and works just fine.

I am not running Dl30. I flashed it anticipating flashing a Dl30 and ended up not doing it because I didnt really like the ones offered at the time. So now I have the Red CW.

Well I just tried some things, and the way to remove the Froyo Red CW and reinstall the Green CW

delete the update.zip and replace it with the original update.zip and then I reflashed the original CW with Odin and then it worked fine...so if anyone needs to know

That is it changeed to the green cw just fine...still having the non shutdown issues in Dl09 with suprah clean 04 and midnight theme 1.2

So I started using the Dj05 super clean 0.9 and the midnight theme worked out just fine for me. So it must be a problem between the superdark ROM and the midnight theme. Still cant get it to do the right shitdown on the Dl09 though

I figured it out...at least the Dj05 part.

He used Launcher Pro 0.8.2 in the build, I had 0.8.3 installed when I flashed the theme...it didnt like that and caused the FC loop. Also you cannot upgrade your 0.8.2 to 0.8.3 at all either.

Still dunno about the Dl09 issue
