My line has been up for upgrade since January 21. Since then I get annoying calls from different Verizon stores in my area trying to get me to come in for an upgrade. I currently have the X, and I told them if I do upgrade to anything it would be the Bionic or the Thunderbolt. Every time they call and I tell them this they try to tell me I should just give the Iphone a try, and that there is no for sure release date for either phones. I always reply "thats o.k I will wait and see". But the calls are getting real bothering I have gotten 4 calls alone in the past week. I called CS to see about stopping the calls, but they said they can not do anything about it.

If you are on the do not call list file a complaint with the FTC and the FCC. Then when they call tell them to remove you from their list, this list has to be coming from corp verizon so they can do something about it I dont care what they say.

only downside to that is that since you are a customer and do business with verizon the do not call list does not apply. it only applies to companies that you do not do business with. i tried that with my cable provider cause the keep calling and wanting me to upgrade so i went and got legal advice from the a lawyer and that is what i was told.

It is also my understanding that they can continue solicitation for 18 months after service has ended.

The best way to get people to stop calling is to verbally abuse them.
