Pls Read My atrix is being a dumb-A

Okay so I leave my atrix 4 g in the charger when i go to sleep that's 8 hours a day and when I get a message it lights up and stays lit till i wake up. So basically it stays on untill i press the button to turn it off. And yes i clicked the backlite option to turn it off otimatically in 30 sec. But it doesnt work when the phone is plugged in. It stays on.

Go to setting > applications > development > uncheck stay awake
