Please do! I just got some random 'low space' warning on my phone after I shut Dolphin out. Little have I known its been collecting cookies, history, etc., building up to a nasty 146.7mb. Yea, ouch.

Take this as a heeding: if you're using your phone to browse the internet in place of the laptop you ordered three days ago, until said laptop gets here, clear your stuff out daily or every other day.

Did I do good buying this laptop here?

Did I do good buying this laptop here?

I recently has a TERRIBLE service experience with J&R. I tried to buy a TV from there, ordering over the phone. It was on sale for a GREAT price, but one of the conditions of the sale was that it could not be shipped and I had to go to the store to pick it up. Somewhat inconvenient, but for the price it was worth it.

When I arrived at the store they could not locate my item. Finally it was discovered that despite the fact that I had already paid for it, they sold it to another customer and had no more in stock. OK, really annoying now, but as long as they take care of me, as the manager instructed the sales rep to do, I'll get over it.

The only things they showed me in my price range were a few damaged "out of box" items or other models that were a significant downgrade to the one I purchased. They also claimed that a 2 inch long scratch ON THE SCREEN of a flat panel TV is a "cosmetic defect". That simply blew my mind.......

Finally, after speaking with the manager again, it became clear that they were gonna screw me over so I just asked for a refund, and was told it could take close to a month for the money to be returned. At least I was able to get that cleared up over the phone the next day, and I got my money in a couple of days.

I don't know if it was simple incompetence or a deliberate bait-and-switch, but overall it was the worst retail experience I have ever had and I will never go there again.

Sorry for the thread derail, but OP did ask the question :)

Dolphin can be set to delete cookies and cache on exit. It was probably cache that got you, I can't imagine 140 MB of cookies. Although I'm not sure if dolphin cache is on /data or /cache

Or you could just root and repartition and move dalvik from data to cache(or to SD but I like important stuff on internal, at least til I get a faster SD)... I have over 100 apps and 480MB free

That's kind of on par so far. I had to call to get my order straightened out today. They've been sitting on the order for three days without doing anything. I called and said xoticpc was willing to have one shipped out on its way in three days flat: process today, ship tomorrow. That inspiring talk of cancelling an order just shy of $1700 got my order processed like it should have been yesterday.

I'm probably not ordering from them again... especially with that crap I just read happening to poor wubbie075.
