Sync ALL Android contacts to gmail?

Is there a way to push all the contacts my Android found up to gmail? I hardly use Facebook but the Android grabbed a lot of useful contact information from there which I'd love to have in my gmail contacts. Can it be done? I don't have THAT many, so if it could be done semi-manually (short of typing all the details) that would be okay. Thanks.

Thanks. I did search on Google for half an hour before posting, but I must not have entered the right combo of keywords to get to that thread.
