I am not too happy about the screen display quality. I have all my contacts linked with Facebook (Facebook for HTC, not Facebook from the market) and the pictures are pixel-y, choppy looking & bad quality, even pictures for contacts that are saved to my SD. I had to remove the HTC people widget cause it bothered me so bad. Especially on the call screen. It seriously looks like crap.

Also, wallpapers that didn't come with the phone (from Zedge, Coveroid, Flikie, ect.) are bad quality.
Everything else seems to be fine. Does anyone else have this?

I'd definitely recommend removing both of your Facebook accounts from the account menu and adding HTC Sense Facebook first. Then do market Facebook if you want.

My pictures, as Mongol said, are crystal clear, they look perfect.

Pictures you use for contacts that are saved on the SD card do tend to come up pixely in the people widget. But yeah, my people widget has perfect pictures.

Perhaps I am crazy but having played with a lot of phones and actually having a pile on my desk both at home and at work I can't say that I have seen a 'bad looking' screen as defined by some.

People seem to use the tiny screen on iPhones as some sort of benchmark and having used them and played with them extensively I can't really tell difference in most.

IMHO, too many people are sticking a magnifying glass up to them looking for defects and getting a perfect screen instead of just being happy and secure with their purchase.

I guess I am an odd egg... or I am not insecure.

This what Flyguy94 posted in a similar thread

Here is how I fixed the problem. Settings < accounts & sync < deleted facebook account (downloaded from market). Select add account select Facebook for HTC Sense and set it up. Bam all pictures good to go. Let me know if it works

Side note I use the downloaded facebook from the market for viewing but the Accounts & sync for my contacts if that makes sense.

People are saying that it works.

in my opinion, screen is much worse than the iPhone 4, but a bit better than Fascinate. That PenTile SAMOLED made text look so jagged. I like LCD alot more.

Thinking back though, I think original droid's screen was very good also.

Huh? Fascinate screen is probably the best screen in vzw's line up! IMO, Samsung makes the best screens out there....super Amoled burns every LCD out there. Only screen that comes close is Moto 's new Qhd screen found on the Atrix, and that will be on the Bionic. As for HTC, the TB's screen is very nice, but nowhere near a Fascinates, or better yet an iphone 4.

Yea that's what I did & it was still crappy. I deleted the HTC FB account again, went in settings > applications & cleared cache & deleted the data, & rebooted just to be safe. Hopefully this works.
