Help Thunderbolt fast boot not working

I had Tango installed on mine and it would not do the fast boot thing until I uninstalled it.

Once I uninstalled Tango and rebooted (I think twice) it boots in like 7 or 8 seconds.

This was my solution also.

I have Tango installed, fast boot still ok.

Weird, fast boot wasn't working on mine until I uninstalled Tango and now it works. Don't know if its coincidence or what

I think I have figured out the fast boot issue. Maybe someone else can try to see if they get the same?

Ok this is what I have found (on my phone). I live about 10 miles outside of 4G and last night I was at a wedding that was in 4G, and my phone was fast booting fine all night at the wedding. My work has 4G as well and all day Friday it worked. Now this morning at home it's not working again (in 3G only area). I turned the wifi on to download some stuff and ended up rebooting for something and would you look at that "It fast booted with wifi on"!!!

So I have tried it a few times with wifi on and and it fast boots every time. For some reason the only time it's not fast booting when only connected to 3G.

Thats strange? My area is only 3g and fast boots work for me on my new phone.

LMAO, I turned WiFi on and sure enough, fast boot works! Hahahaha!!! I'm not in a 4G coverage area yet and haven't had wifi on. Thanks for the tip!

It's worked for me every time with WiFi on. Turn it off and it fails every time. It's strange.

This has got to be a bug. Fast boot worked for me with wifi on but also when in airplane mode (when I'd get the most use out of it).

I notice that the shutdown process takes longer when fast boot doesn't work, i.e., prior to trying the fast boot.

Hmm, and after I turned wifi back off, fast boot also worked fine for me.

Yes, very strange.

I just got back from Verizon. I finally got a phone that works! :)

scratch that , took my phone off charge and didn't do fast boot
called HTC again, reset my phone. they got it to work twice in a row then on third attempt it failed .

Took down my info and escalated my case and they said they are going to call me back within the week. I told them to keep in mind that this is my third phone!

If you talk to them (or anyone for that matter) you can relay to them that wifi/4g has something to do with it.

No idea what it could be but I hope some HTC engineer is looking at this thread :D

I'm sure I could mention that for some people the fast boot worked when wifi was turned on whenever they call me back. I tried turning my wifi on but when I turned my wifi on it didn't make my fast boot work?

I have over 40 Market apps, from Alchemy and Angry Birds Rio to Game Emulators, Groupon, Go Contacts, JuiceDefender, Lookout, Mr. Number, Phone Info, Pulse, Qik, Tango, Where and Winamp. I turned on Fast Boot about an hour ago and it worked flawlessly. It goes into hibernation in about 3 seconds and boots in about 10. I just checked the box, pressed the ower button and chose Power Off and that's it. Now if I could get my bluetooth heaset to work and the battery to last at least 15 hours, I'd be a happy customer.
