Root EB01 reception issues

Hey guys-
I just loaded EB01 radio, rom, and kernel on my SF a few weeks ago. I have noticed really bad reception issues since then. At my house where my wife's Droid Pro gets 4 bars, I'm getting zero to one if I'm lucky. Same with at work, where it used to be just fine. And it's draining my battery because of it. When I try to send a text message, half the time it doesn't go through and gives me the error-message not sent. I will get notification of a voicemail but the phone never rang. Is there a new radio release since the February release of EB01 that I could try? Or any other suggestions? I'm open to just about anything. Thanks!

EDIT: I tried reflashing EB01 modem/radio from the file at XDA....still no change. Also, when I do *228 option 2 or 1 or *22899, after playing all the music it acts like it's going to reboot and all that but just vibrates once....then vibrates twice.....then a FC popup saying "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." So I hit force close. Then my menu, home, and search buttons don't work. This is weird....

bump one because I am having these issues too, although not QUITE as severe as you are. I get people who say theyve called me several times without my phone ever ringing once.

would it help to go back to an older modem/or is it even compatible? I'm running the latest superclean.

I've tried flashing back to DJ05 modem and DL30 modem and neither of them seem to do much good either. Maybe my phone is defective? I just can't believe that in the state's capital city, I can be without a signal 70% of the time my phone is on. What's going onnnnn??

Before you flash again, go into recovery, and wipe everything (Dalvik, Cache, and User Data).

I was running into all sorts of wonkiness, did that, still no avail. So, I did some looking, and my Super Clean I was using was not the one that everyone else is using. Tried a different one, and voila! No issues now :)

I'm having the same issue...can you post a lil to the Tom you used to resolve the issue?

If you can find the ROM and kernel that you want separate from the radio, you can flash EA28 or earlier (like DL09) then flash just the ROM and kernel. That would put you at Froyo with an older, theoretically more stable radio.

Also, the ROM you are looking for is deodexed, debloated on adrynalyne's thread. that keeps touchwiz, but removes bing and all the Verizon crap that you can't uninstall without root.

Yeah, you can go to android central to get the stock rooted all in one of EB01 with CWM. Great package put together by DroidXCon. Then, after that's all set, you can google for EC01 like dragon1357 said and Odin that radio. I'm running the stock EB01 with the EC01 radio and it's helped my reception at work quite a bit.
