Bought the milestone yesterday finally

After extensive reading on various review sites and forum posts.

Yesterday, i took the plunge and bought myself a Milestone.

It's very pleasing so far, shame with the keyboard being so packed together, find myself hitting D instead of S most the time, having own the Touch Pro 2 as well, the TP2 keypad just blows it away.

but then again, keypad is always better than no keypad in my case, always...

Played with it all night last night, to get familiar with the market software.

It's my first Android machine, went online to read the news on it this morning, and i must say it;s close enough to the speed of 3Gs and much faster than my TP2 when surfing.

I also ordered one of these cases to complement it also:

only reason I ordered it though is cos a friend of mine already has one, and apparantly he warned me about other cases might put the phone on dock mode when in contact with the magnetic part.
and apparantly this one does not. so i took his advice and went for it.

so far so good, gonna be lerking around here more often to check any news and updates.

yeah he's correct, mine was with a data plan, and it costs me 2680 hkd that's about 250 in euro, I live in hk you see. but that works out that i only pay about $10 usd per month for my data and call plan for 18 mths.

it's kind of a good deal.

Damn you people on plans! It's not offered by any carriers in Ireland so I've no choice but to get it sim free

Super . Got the milestone + dock for 440...though i'll prob end up selling the dock tbh. Cant really see why you'd want to use it - surely using your phone during the day, and then leaving it on all night as a clock can't be good for it! Phones weren't designed to run for months without shutting off, let alone years!
