transfer info/profile from one HERO to another?

Hello, my first post here

I'm buying a new Hero (the one i've got is white, and will be selling it - and changing for the brown or MOKA one)

anyway, i'm trying to figure out how i can basically 'clone' the info from one hero (contacts, emails, passwords, paid applications) to the new one.

There must be a way right?

Welcome to AF!

Sure , it's really easy with Android to transfer all your data and back it up.

when you get your new phone simply sign in to the phone using the same Google account as on your previous phone and that will automatically sync all your email , contacts and calender to the phone as they are all backed up online "in the cloud".

Just make sure your contacts are backed up first , go to your gmail on a pc then select contacts. you should now see your phonebook online

Apps:

All your paid apps can be re-downloaded free of charge to your new phone

pictures etc:

Simply place your memory card from your old phone to the new one.

and your done!
