Root how do u remove the start up image for metropcs

i have rooted my LG optimus M 2.2.1 now i found how to remove the stupid hello hello hello sound now i need to kno if anyone knows where i can find the start up images so i can modify them to sumething other then metropcs wireless for all,its a much better fone after deleting the metro bs too

you should try installing one of the custom roms that are on this site. . will change all of that and they have a bunch of other advantages

There is a CM7 ROM available for our phones but it's still a work in progress and may not be for everyone that just started installing ROMS and needs full functionality with minimal bugs to work around.

im gonna keep picking at it i found the power on imgs 14 of them now i have them copyed/backed up on sd card im copying them to the computer decompressing them and replacing them the img has to b the same size xxbyxx ect, after i figure it out im going to start changing other things too

as for this work in progress no thanks i would rather ruin my fone coz i did the moddding not coz someone else made a rom and didnt work or causes problems

i just want to know how i would go about manually changing this screen from metropcs i just need the location of the files so i an alter them

The .rle files will rewrite themselves when you reboot. Sorry.
