Ah! I'm very glad to find this thread and you, "Vlingo Support" user.
BAD NEWS FOR ANDROID 2.3 USERS. As of what appears to be as recent as YESTERDAY, Vlingo pulled it's availability and services from Android 2.3, at least on HTC phones.
I just got the Sensation 4G a week ago, and the Jawbone ERA yesterday after reading on Vlingo and Jawbone's sites that they work beautifully together. Both sites still have, as I type this, a link to download Vlingo for Adroid.
BUT when I tried a million times to do so, I keep getting a "not supported" page. I emailed customer service at Vlingo and got a surprisingly fast, personal response:
"Unfortunately, after much investigation, our engineers discovered a functionality issue with the software on the HTC Sensation device. Subsequently, the device has been removed from Vlingo's list of supported devices. Our engineers are currently workin gon a fix to the issue, and hope the (sic) resolve it in the very near future."
Best regards,

The Big Question:
Should I trade in my ERA today and get a plantronics that has a service that WILL allow voice to text, totally hands free? Or do you think Vlingo really IS working on it, and really WILL fix it soon?
My guess is this ties in with the subsequent announcement that Vlingo has a new contract with Sprint to release the new Android phones, beginning with the Sensation's #1 competitor, the Galaxy S2, with Vlingo installed from factory.
