Will hotspot work with rooted EVO?

Hi, need some help please...

I'm paying the 30 a month for the HotSpot with Sprint on my Evo. I have recently rooted my Evo with Unrevoked and also using Titanium Backup w/ root.

My question is: If I discontinue the HotSpot charge with Sprint will the HotSpot still work? If it wouldn't work - how could I get it to work.

I've heard it would still work but with only one device connected at a time.

I don't know too much about this stuff but by some miracle I was able to get the phone rooted.
