Evo 3d - Removing Facebook Birthdays from Calender w/ Sync

I synced the HTC for Sense FB to my new Evo 3d. I want to keep the pictures and everything that attach to my contacts, but I do not want to have all the birthdays synced to my calender. Anyone have any ideas? I have gone through the friend stream and unscyned the calender aspect, but it still leaves all the birthdays on my calender. I have just removed the program, but then all the pictures go to, and that is something that I would like to keep. Thanks in advance for any info.

Go to Menu (button) > Accounts & sync > Facebook for HTC Sense > and uncheck Calendar. You'll have to manually add events from Facebook, though.

Hmm...that didn't seem to remove them, though. Trying to figure it out, myself, now.

- tap that heading to bring down the menu and un-select facebook

How do I add the Facebook calendar? It's not coming up in my all Calendars menu?
