Root So now how do I root???

The sticky thread gives this helpful info:

My rooted Fascinate is self-rebooting several times a day. I need to wipe it and reinstall whatever the latest...roms?...are.

Where do I find the instructions and files to do this?

What I did was Odin the "cwm-recovery-ALL.tar" and then loaded the Evil_Fascinate ROM with it. Its pre-rooted .... I had to install the zip from SD card on the first reboot after installing CWM or it would go back to the stock blue recovery. After that i should be good ... mine rock solid so far, and fast.

And where do I get Odin? It's been so long since I rooted my Fascinate that I've forgotten the details, and all the tutorials I've read assume one knows the jargon.

Look over at XDA, everything you need is there. How did you root originally with out ODIN?

I used Odin...I just forgot the details.
