i bought my wife a Cliq exactly 14 days ago. Since then I recieved some type of update within the first few days. After that it went downhill. The phone would turn off randomly and reboot ( I deleted her apps and installed only ones that were trust worthy...etc ) , put calls on speaker phone while on the phone or just hang up ( maybe bad proximity sensor ) and some of the camera functions were no working( the only way for her to snap a pic was by touch. The side button wudnt work ).The lady was suprised that it was acting up at the corp store as she said " we never get these back" but hey, they took it hassle free. Hopefully this one is bug free.

I am working on my 3RD CLiq (just got off the phone with t-mobile). I have had so many problems (like staying on the EDGE network). The only reason why i continue to stick to this phone is that i know it has GREAT potential and besides I just received my nice bling-bling case for it. I HOPE this is it for me. I get tired of waiting for new handsets to be shipped to me. :(

I think I'm about to take my girlfriends cliq back to the store also....Seems ultra glitchy. For one the touch screen seems to be 10x more sensitive than the one on my HTC, just wave your finger to close to the screen and it thinks your touching the screen. Randomly when exiting from and app using the back button or sometimes all on its own it calls the last person in call log.

When using pandora app in car with it connected to the aux in the car it randomly opens up voice dial and the sound from the music makes the phone start to react.

This morning I factory reset the phone... thought i should install apps one at a time and see if it has anything to do with an app or it's just the phone.

Anybody else have these kind of problems?

Ok here is my update: After starting over from scratch all is much better.. have been installing apps one at a time and waiting day or so inbetween and so far haven't found the one that was causing phone to do crazy things. And hopefully with the coming update the touchscreen sensitivity will be better.

guess we'll keep the phone!

Sure hope I don't continue to have the same problem(s) as you. I am also having problem with the battery staying charged. I seldom use the phone, but I have to recharge every night. I have had my cliq 4 days, hope I don't continue to regret my decision.

on top of my previously complaints the battery life sucks too. But have become use to this in most android devices...

ya since she got the new phone she has no problems with her prox censor, no reboot and her camera functions are fine. She even states that her battery life is alot better. As for the battery life on these phones, they all kinda suck but its something u have to live with when u compare them to BBs and what not. They do alot. Def have to invest in a car charger soon.
