Verizon has sent me my 3rd droid due to defects. I still have my second and 3rd droids because when the 3rd droid gets activated it wont download all my apps from the market. it only shows up the apps ive purchased and a 1 to 3 free apps. Not all my free apps that ive downloaded. It is my understanding that when you transfer from one droid to another all the apps are supposed to be transferred. That's how it was when my second droid got activated. but with this one it wont. I don't think i should have to manually find and down load all 92 free apps that i have. Nor do i have the time to do it manually. I called tech support and the guy i spoke with said that this problem would be corrected by the OTA update that was supposed to be pushed on the 22nd. Since there was no update I still cant switch to my new phone. Am i wrong in the assumption that all apps should be pushed to the new device? If this is not the case I guess im going to have to switch to AT&T's crappy network and get the iphone because im sure it doesn't have these issues. plus the 3 mp camera on the iphone takes way better pics than the supposed 5mp camera on the droid. What am i supposed to do? I have to send one of the phones back soon and i dont want to keep a $200 defective phone. But im not going to manually redo all my apps every time a droid becomes defective. Which in my case seems to be a regular occurrence. I need some help in this matter, PLEASE!
