Ok. I needs yalls "professiona" opinions....

I need battery life and MOST normal features.
Im currently running CM7 build #26 with isyo tweaks....

On a new rom I would like to keep Wireless tether if possibble.
I like SIMPLE....I only have like 6 apps installed and have never been on liberty....To my understanding you have to "buy" it?

In your opinion, what is fast, simple, and good on the battery....thats where CM7 falls short IMHO.

Thanks for everyones advice/help.

Well, I am running Liberty 0.8 right now and the battery life is outstanding. When I plug my phone in at night I still have at least 60 - 70% battery. So, I recommend Liberty if you are looking for battery life. :D

some people, including myself report battery life not as good on liberty as is on apex, my battery life on liberty is about the same as cm7, but in 8 hours it still is on so i am happy
I tried stock GB, I tried liberty, and now I tried apex because liberty v8 and v9 was killing my battery.

Apex is so much faster, cleaner and better with battery than Liberty. I really don't know why everybody brags about liberty. I know you can customize it and I did too, but man, I love apex.

Try both liberty and Apex, see what you like better
liberty is only good because of the liberty customizer, lets you keep certain apps, and change certain things, once the apex toolbox is back up it will be just the same.

that and i was never able to get any of the addons found in the liberty toolbox under roms section to work. they all forceclose or never install.

Liberty v0.8 is best for me so far. It's fast and everything works on it. I like CM7, but could never get my battery to last enough to justify using for the time being. On Liberty over the weekend, I was on wifi primarily and my battery was 70% at the end of the day. Of course this isn't the norm as usually I'm at work, but got a lot better results than the same scenario on CM7. I do miss those lock screen gestures though. The Justice Rom from jRummy is going to be awesome.

I'm waiting for Fission too. I will try it out when it's out of RC.

Speaking of fission: When I had it on my phone previously, it's boot animation is still somewhere on my phone. It's the word "android" in blue. Anytime I try to change to a different boot animation, it defaults back to that android boot ani from Fission. Anyone happen to know where AngDroid put that boot animation so that I can nuke it? I've looked in all of the normal boot animation locations, deleted/changed them but it still comes up.

Check data/local with root explorer or something similar to root explorer.
