Social Hub + Email + GMail

I have just setup my GMail and Exchange email on S2. But I find that I can access my gmail on the Social Hub, Samsung Email app and the GMail app. The exchange email also can be accessed from Social Hub and Samsung Email app.
Is there any way to have only one app for emails and if yes, then which one to be used?

Thanks.

well it depends on which email u want to use. if u use mainly gmail like i do, u could just use the gmail app.. but if u need all ur email in one place i.e. u use gmail and exchange both a lot, u could add both accounts to the email app and ditch gmail app like mentioned above. the social hub simply links all ur email accounts, its just a hub, its not an email app, so dont worry about it.

So how do I remove the GMail app syncing while still getting the mails in the Email app?
From the home screen go to Menu - Settings - Accounts and sync. Tap on your Gmail account (with the "g" icon on the left - the google account linked to the phone) and uncheck the tickbox next to Sync Gmail. Don't tap "Remove account" as it needs to keep the account linked to your phone for other things (such as Android Market).

Thanks. Now I am using the email app. So is there a difference between the email app and social hub. I still have my Exchange, GMail and GTalk on social hub.

well like i said before, the social hub app isnt really an email app. it just brings all ur accounts (email, social networks, texts, chat) into one place. when u select one of ur email accounts from the social hub, it opens the email app with that account. with instant messaging accounts in social hub, it opens the IM app. u can ignore the social hub and simply use the email app if

however, for the social networking part of the social hub, u can access ur facebook/twitter feeds directly on this app, update status etc

I really cant get my Gtalk to sign in on the Social Hub or the IM. Infact since i have added my gtalk account to the Social Hub I just cant open the IM even. my screen flickers and i get my apps page again. when i try to go to the Gtalk account through Social Hub it says 'Checking account status...' for a good 20 and then its back to the main page. Could u tel me how i can get it work or delete it even.

u could go to settings/applications, find the IM app, and clear data. note that this will remove all ur existing accounts from IM.. that should make the IM app work, i dont think u need to clear data on social hub. if that doesnt work, u could clear data on social hub, although that'd remove all ur accounts from social hub.. so try clearing data on the IM app first
