Root Android 2.3.5

This relates to the bolt through the fact that the DL article says there are new Gapps. Mainly talk w/ video, among a few others.

Any idea where we can find these apps as a whole?
We have the new market currently, and lithid's gapps, but i have been waiting for the official gapps with gtalk with video to use them, and i have seen nothing on the updated search app. Hopefully these will start popping up within the next few days.

Google talk with video is already part of lithid's gapps...I have it loaded but have not tried it--no one I know uses it, lol. Penalty of being an old dude I guess.

it is, but it is just a hacked version. The official app has not yet been released, since no phone out has been released with it.
I am probably going to switch to omfgb for a little bit just to see how it runs. I have been on cm7 for so long I just need a little change.
Edit: just checked rootzwiki, OMFGB has ben updated to this version of android in case anyone wants it.

Already running 2.3.5 on OMFGB! very smooth and responsive!

Has anyone tried a current skype with this? Just curious if Skype was requiring 2.3.5 to run.

I doubt it was as 2.3.5 was just updated on the nexus s on 7/25, I believe skype was working prior to that.

Disclaimer: I have not flashed a 2.3.5 rom and I don't use skype
