So today I got 12 hours battery life on 4g and coming from a Tbolt...thats bad ass (stock battery!) but....the huge but...

I came home and charged it back to full. I was on wifi and my battery drained in 3 hours with 60% usage from WiFi. It seems to be utilizing wifi and 3g or 4g. Does anyone know a way to fix this, or does this go to the old "wait 9 months for carrier to patch" list?

Did you Disable mobile data when switching on Wifi?

I've had the OG, Droid X, Droid 2, Incredible, and TBolt...and also took the Evo3d for a spin for 2 weeks. I didn't have to, and will not be forced to...disable things while I am on wifi. That just seems silly and like poor functionality. I just want to know if anyone else is noticing this.

I noticed over wi fi the 3G icon stayed on but the small arrows indicating data transfer were not active while browsing. So maybe its just a graphical error? Wi fi has always drained faster than 3G for me on my Droid X and my OG Droid. Im testing it all out this weekend in a thread ive created to see exactly what's draining the most. Maybe the antenna is on but I don't think its active. Not sure how that works.

There have been times on 3g that it used more, but typically when the wifi is weak and it drops out...but solid wifi...even on the Og? it never used that much. But this phone? It's worse than a stock tbolt on 4g all day....if you ever have been there..its bad. Lol. Wifi should be better or at the very least comparable to 3g life. But, a couple of hours and 80% drain? No thanks.
