I've been meaning to upload these since I received my case a month ago but I've just been too busy to take the time to do it.

I figured people would want to see these because I still see people asking about the Seidio case from time to time.

Please excuse my crappy studio setup. (Kitchen counter and a Desklamp for lighting) And my dirty phone. (All that dust isn't really noticeable. That camera just brings it all out!)

I just hung up with Seidio customer support, because my top cover constantly falls off. The rep said that their original covers have fit problems because the demo Droid they were given differed from the production model. I was added to a list to receive a free fitting replacement as soon as the factory releases them. So beware when buying, it might not fit properly. Love it, though, just wish I could use mine!

Cool... great pics!! How do you like it? The texture looks to be sorta grippy, like the battery cover. That would be nice!
Its about the same as the droids back side.

Mine is nothing like that. Its actually really hard to the top cover off my phone.

Yes size does seem to matter. I have one also that the top does not fit either.Hopefully Seidio will replace it soon.In fact just lost the top off the one Verizon sold me too.All these cases are POS it seems.

nice pics, thanks for sharing. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the case but *le sigh* i always worry about these kinds of snap on cases loosening the slider. a previous seidio case on a different phone did just that. plus i have a dock that i <3 using and don't want to buy the seidio dock.

Either of you have the multimedia dock? I really love mine, and I know there are alternatives, but I'm not just dumping it. I'd like to find something like this that would work with it.

Well the Siedio case is only 1mm thin which is pretty much the thinnest you'll get. It is not compatible with the Motorola dock. So I'm pretty sure nothing will work short of just covering it in wrapping paper.

You're welcome. Well my phone has that gap between the screen and the keyboard parts. Where the bottom bounces when you press it, Storm style. The Seidio case gets rid of that play and it hasn't seemed to make it any worse and the slide motion still has the same resistance as before. I've had it on for a month or so, and I do use the keyboard a lot.

I just love that it covers the shiny black bezel. I don't like shiny.

i got one of these and i don't like it. i really hate dust and this thing traps dust like crazy. especially at the edges where the top cover hugs the phone. i rather have no cover and be able to wipe the dust of easily. i'm really careful with my phone anyway so i can live with no protection.

So, just to follow up, I got a package from Seidio today. Inside was a replacement for just my top cover. It shipped to me faster than the actual original purchase. This top cover is clearly made of a different type of plastic. It is more rigid than the original cover I had, and the finish looks different, still rubberized, but darker.

It snapped on perfectly with satisfying clicks at all corners, unlike my original one, which seemed to try to slide over the edges, while never really clicking into place. I think the softer plastic of the original cover lead to the tabs not being as firm.

Happy with a protected phone, again. Eventually.

man I really wanted to get this just because in another post somebody posted a picture of their case and it had white letters where it says seidio. How come that persons letters were white and yours are not? call me dumb but the white lettering made me want to buy this case. Maybe they painted them white?
dont get me wrong though I still want to buy it, But i was hoping for the white letters.

I don't know. Mine is definitely not white. It's all the flat black soft touch. The plastic is actually clear so I was thinking about taking a razor and shaving the soft touch coating off the letters then painting the back a color so it would show through to the outside. Dunno if I want to mess with a $30 case though. If I do I'll take more pics.

I received my 2nd case today and no matter what I do I can't get the front cover to stay on. In the instructions it says to put the side by the mic on first and then snap the other side on. I can see and fee the "snap" on the top part, but can not get the bottom side to stay in place.

Any ideas? I returned my first case for the same problem. This one is better, but still won't stay on.

Thanks

just got this case and the multimedia dock... the case has a nice tight secure fit. it has a rubbery texture, yet not really grippy... i think it is a wise investment. especially since seidio also makes a dock compatible with the case. dock is a good build quality and does what it is supposed to do...

i also got their screen protector film... it seems to work great, almost like it isn't even there, haven't noticed any degradation in screen sensitivity

Maybe the white lettering is from the first batch? Are people with white lettering having problems with the bezel protector?

I definitely don't have this loose fitting problem. It fits tighter than OJ's glove and is a bitch to take off. Does yours not snap in at the top? Is there gaps around the edges? Maybe it's not Siedio, maybe yo Droid iz whack!
