I had been looking for an app too, and when I couldn't find one, decided to write my own. It's been three months in the making, and is now doing what I want it to.
I may be able to add a link to display pdf/text/image option if there is interest.
I'm sorry to come in sounding like an ad. but it's been a passion for a while, and sounds like its may suit some of you.
