i seems to me like the only really stable Roms out there happen to be AOSP style Roms. i am currently using cm7 7.1 with the latest tiamat sbc kernal using the SA2 governer, and i must say that i am more than pleased with the spped of my phone and battery life as well. that being said i also can't help wanting to have all the cool features of a sense Rom, but i also want it to be almost bug free and very stable. what sense rom/kernal combo are you guys using and how you got the cpu set up?

Go ahead and give MikG 2.55 a try, use lithid's freedom kernel (universal) to start. In my experience, this is the best combination of performance, features and battery life that you will find out there.

EDIT: You could also try Swagged out Stock, basically a stock ROM based off of the latest OTA with some bells and whistles. That might be an even better place to start if you're looking to move slow.

With many stable sense roms to choose from, I think you should ask yourself, what sense overlay do you want. 2.1, 2.1+3.0, 3.0 and even 3.5(pretty stable imo). Kernels can vary from phone to phone but there are different kernels for different roms so keep that in mind

ok i will try some of these out. also i have a question about the v6 supercharger is it a must using a sense rom and does anyone have a direct d/l link?

Oh it's definitely not necessary by any means, especially with lighter Sense ROMs like the trimmed-down OTA-based ones or even Mik's. I'd say read through the instructions, nand, and give it a shot. See if you can feel any benefit.

Here's the link:

d/ling now!

Kk, be sure to read the instructions! Long story short, you're going to need:

BusyBox Installer
Script Manager

Both are free apps you can DL right from the market on your phone. You'll run BusyBox Installer to get that moving, make sure to pick an older release like they recommend. Then you'll just run Script Manager (make sure to go into the options and select View as Root) and run the V6 script. I picked option 3 (slow) for scrolling, and then when prompted, I believe option 8 (MegaRAM 1, 512MB) would be the one you want.

V6 Supercharger HTK & Bulletproof Launchers all android devices Tutorial - YouTube

Watch this video, it has step by step instructions and made it easy to do. I was intimidated by reading all the steps, but watching them you realize how simple it is :D

I dont know about MikG but on Mik3D it made a world of difference. Not just "oh it seems different" different, I mean I let my buddy play with the phone and the first thing he said was "why is your Evo running as fast or faster than my 3VO?" You will see it the first time you open an app or swipe the screen.

You can also use Terminal Emulator, and use it that way;)

Just open TE

Type: su
Type: cd sdard
Type: sh V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update8.sh

( I use update 8, just fyi:))

Theres also instructions put out by a member of our forums that I thought were very easy to use. Although I theres a few minor things that need to be updated, it still works. (24 to exit instead of 17, version numbers, ect)

All credit goes to DaRayvn.

EDIT: I tried to upload the instructions but its saying invalid file.. Just search his recent posts and youll find it.
