***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Wow. I have never seen such a wide range of feelings on the little scraps of information and pictures we have to date. Thinking in terms of VZN, they range from not getting it at all, getting it in Q1, to getting it as early as Oct. 27th. And the differing opinions on what will be in it hardware and software. I wish that VZN_Wired would give a free Nexus Device from VZN to the person who guesses the most correctly as what this device will be when we see it. Or if we don't see it, then VZN_Wired will offer to give a Vigor or RAZR instead.... This could be fun right.... :~)

Yeah. I will be winning the new SGSII-HD Droid (?) variant.;)

Would I be bad if I suggested we moved all the Steve props into another thread and made that one just for people to drop in and show respect? Also, mainly Steven, would such a thing be too difficult?

No can do. This is a type of lounge/newsy thread. Read the OP what Phases, the admin wrote.

That phone is darn thin. Not just thin, but REALLY thin. Look at the power button in comparison to the the rest of the profile.

No idea how they can stuff an LTE radio in this particular handset. The bottom is larger yes but is it really possible to fit the radio in there.....Just can't see it.

Looks like the power button to me. Makes the size fit LTE much better.

A quote from Steve Jobs that has always stuck with me:

"Don't be trapped Dogma. Dogma is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

I know you see all this love and support Steve. We love our Android handsets, but from all of us......Thank you!

PEACE OUT BROTHER!!!

I believe that is a power button.

Nexus Prime on VZW would be epic. Best phone on the best carrier. I was skeptical about it happening, because VZW is so anal about controlling phone content/user experience. There was a time where I wondered if the reason Verizon wasn't getting a Nexus phone was something like this:

Google: "We would love for Verizon to carry the next Nexus Phone."
Verizon: "So would we."
Google: "Well what do we need to do to make it happen."
Verizon: "These apps are required to be preloaded, un-removable, and always run in the background." (Huge List of Bloatware)
Google: "Wait, I don't think you understand what the Nexus line is, let me expl..."
Verizon: "Also, we will review all updates prior to going out to consumers."
Google: "Well Nexus phones by definition get the latest and greatest first."
Verizon: "Well we will be the final word on that. Oh, there is also one more thing."
Google: "What is it?"
Verizon: "Since it is a "Nexus", and not a "Droid", we are going to need you to make Bing the default browser."

dude i could so imagine that!
