Application Usage Tracking App?

Thank you both for creating your applications - they provide a nice overview of what applications are being used.

I'm interested in monitoring productivity.

Is it possible to write the usage data to a file, for when an application is being used?
i.e. 9:00AM - 9:30AM email
9:30AM - 10:00AM internet etc.

Seeing as your application already tracks the start-time and stop-time of an application, it would only require the addition of the system time for this to occur.

Are either of you interested in producing this?

This would be a great help to some research I am doing. :)

Similar question, but looking for "total" usage. Thinking of switching from unlimited to 2gb data plan, and wondered how to check past monthly use. Does a phone store all previous data or just since last charged?

Not sure. But you can use an app called "My Data Manager Free" which will keep track of total data used and how much each app is using. I'm not sure why you would want to switch from your unlimited data plan to a 2 GB data plan. I say, if you can still afford the unlimited data plan, keep it. You never know how your data usage might change in the future. You can check with your carrier for past months data usage too.

You can use the "App Usage Tracker" app available in the market.
