Every time I discount this phone...

I end up seeing more and more how awesome it is. I'm holding out for a chance to check out the Nexus, but today's experience didn't help. I really want a Razr again. The UI is super super smooth. I never thought that I'd use an Android UI that smooth. Sense is probably 90% as smooth as iOS/WP7 but the Razr and Moto's latest Blur are super smooth. So smooth and fast that I enjoyed it more than iOS. I couldn't produce lag in my time playing with it and it's something that I've always noticed and been annoyed at with Android.

First, check out these speeds...this was unusual but it probably averaged around 20-24Mbps.

This phone was literally just slightly wider than my wedding band.

I should have taken a video, but at the time I didn't think about it. I couldn't see a problem with the autofocus. Everything worked smoothly and wonderfully for me. For a camera phone it really seemed fast at taking photos. I'm not saying that there's no problem with it, just that I didn't notice anything in the 30 minutes I played around with it.

The Nexus has to impress me with stellar battery life or really hit a home-run in another major area. Otherwise I'm really digging the Razr. I really do wish that the battery was better :-(
NOTE: I really don't know what the battery life is like, I'm disappointed with the reviews I read today.

I was holding out for the Bionic since April (looking to get my first Droid from a BB), but something told me in September to wait just a little longer. I read the review here and elsewhere and realized I was smart to have waited. Subsequently I pre-ordered the RAZR and am patiently waiting to receive my new toy.

Thank you for your thoughts on how the RAZR seems to have impressed you.

I like the removable battery and data card, as well as the screen quality and processor. The physical appearance is the worst of the three, but it sure packs alot of power and flexibility.

Rezound will be a GREAT purchase but one thing has many concerned. Battery life. Hopefully HTC fixed this problem on their handset. It does have a very small battery for such a power hungry device but thats nothing an extended battery cant fix. But again, has HTC fixed the battery life issue.

If they have I think the Rezound is a great purchase.

I think the Rezound will be a great phone. Having owned a DInc and a TBolt, I am really impressed with their user centered vision of Android in their "Sense" skin. It's very sexy. It is also VERY resource hungry and with so much going on, the battery has trouble keeping it going. You also have to keep an eye on what is going on with the processor, because bogging it down is not hard to do if you go crazy with widgets on every screen and heat is a real issue.

I love HTC phones. I am not so in love that I turn a blind eye to having to be teathered to an outlet and getting weak data signals every time a cloud passes over. Even if green M&M's are your favorite food, there are only so many green M&M's you can eat before you say, "F***, I want a RED one!"

think it was like 2600 mah or something like that. Even with the big bulge, I don't think it would be a problem as I wear my phone on my hip holster. The other side of the coin is, if I am going to lug that moster battery around, why not get three days out of it instead of just one heavy use day. I returned the Iphone 4s after the 2 week trial because the battery was only so so and the screen did not auto fit the text when I enlarged it. I know life has its compromises, but I do not want to have too many of them in one phone. I have no idea how to root a phone, or what the hell a ROM is. Knowing this, would you steer me one way versus another knowing I will never alter the stock phone outside of market purchases? Thanks for your opinions.

@moparharn - Based on your post, I would suggest the RAZR over the Rezound for two main reasons: (i) build quality and (ii) signal reception. HTC is notoriously bad with signal reception relative to other phones and the build quality is so-so when compared to Motorola.

That being said, if you don't mind waiting, the Galaxy Nexus would be as pure an experience you could get without having to any tinkering with your phone.

I think poor battery life is bigger issue than signal reception in HTC. Maybe two are related?
