Nice! Slightly jealous over here. Can't wait to hit the slopes this season. This is the year I attempt to get the daughter up on a board!

Breckenridge was brutal today... cold, extremely windy, puking snow, and super crowded after the first 2 hrs. Still a great day though

I also got a little cocky for my first day of the season and took a bell ringer... pretty sure I would have knocked myself unconscious if I hadn't been wearing my helmet LOL.

I hear the Rezound commercial featured the song XV - Awesome. Now you guys probably don't share my taste in music, but he's one of my absolute favorite performers. Guy throws an absolutely amazing show.

Off Topic - The thing I don't like about Canons is that I can't use the LCD screen to take shots. It is black, so I am forced to use the viewfinder. In what I do, not a photographer, having my face pressed up against the camera would not be the best option. I need to see what is going on around me. Maybe it is just a settings thing, and I can't find it in the menu.

My Canon 7D has the ability to shoot using the LCD.

Mainly a hobby and for my website to show good food and places I have enjoyed. I do some cooking for charity dinners and did a bit of catering for a while. Tough job.

I think the Nexus will rock for pics with all the good info on 5MP.

The term you are looking for in a dSLR is Live View. My T3 has live view functionality, where the image appears on the screen. However, autofocus and speed is hampered on all dSLRs using this feature.

im still rocking a lg envy touch.the gnex will be my first smartphone.i currently have a unlimited data/msg plan that verizon no longer offers.will i be able to grandfather this plan to the gnex?

Yes you will be able to grandfather you unlimited data/msg plan to your gnex.

I take a lot photos at work of food and typically use my Inc as it is always with me and my blackberry takes awful photos. I think the Gnex is going to be a nice upgrade and will make my reports look a little nicer

When you are in shooting mode, trying pressing the Display button (you may have to press the button more than once to cycle through the choices). On my old Canon PowerShot G3, this will cycle through LCD Off, LCD On, and LCD On with Icon Indicators. HTH.
