Been awhile since I've posted anything....guess I haven't had much to say (just sitting in the corner watching the train wreck). Am I the only one that is thinking....if it wasn't for ice cream sandwhich I would jump on the Rezound in a heartbeat? Getting good reviews....very very nice screen. Ok...I'll jump back into my corner.

And you can say, well 120,000 some-odd devices isn't that much to store. Phil Nickinson posted over in a thread on Android Central saying that this number isn't a "nationwide" number.

Just throwing that out there too. Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic since I just sold my Vibrant and am now using a G1/HTC Dream to get by until this thing is out.

On a closing note, I also feel that there is a lot of very wild speculation out there that sometimes gets interpreted by the masses as fact, and I know it is an exciting time and emotions/tensions are running high for us gadget freaks, but I would hope that people would really sit and think for a minute as to what makes sense/is logical vs what is completely illogical and make no sense at all.

If you notice, the Branch Name is greyed out, if I remember correctly. I expect that is a distribution center or a very large metropolitan area with only a couple of stores. So that makes total sense to me as well.

I think both the Rezound and the RAZR are ICS-ready and will have updates in a few months.

Nope - you definitely aren't the only one. I won't do it because I'm ready to try something new anyway but there are lots here that will jump ship to the Vigor or the Razr if we don't get a date soon - and they'll probably be very happy with it.

Samsung ships a lot of product through San Diego and Seattle. Any longshoreperson your input would be appreciated on shipment manifests about now.

Agreed. I'm going to take a look at the HTC device today after work, and the red buttons are strangely appealing.

But I really go for the black & red motif anyway.

Seems like I remember back in the day, when the new iPhone would come out there would be leaked pictures of cargo ships with crate loads of Apple products on them as an indicator even before the press conference to announce the phone's availabilty. My memory is cloudy on this subject, but that seems to be the most accurate I can remember. That means the hardware was made, shipped to the US, placed in Apple warehouses, announcement was made either concurrently or before the devices shipped from those warehouses here stateside. The phones are more than likely here stateside already. It would be almost impossible to manufacture, ship, and release within a month. These things were more than likely manufactured weeks ago and shipped over then....IF the phone launches by the end of the month that is.

Nope. I have ordered every model iphone. When you preordered from Apple you would get a tracking number and could actually track it from CHINA to your doorstep. It would hit Fed Ex distribution Hubs where they were held, which might be what you were remembering because everyone was pissed that they were going to get them early but then they were held at the Fed distro hub for the regional area.

Actually I wouldn't... I certainly don't mind my Droid Inc 2, but I like Samsung phones better, so the only way would be without any good Samsung alternative...:)

I am happy to hear it is getting good reviews though! :)

A question for the Mods:

Is the view count on this thread based on how many people click on it from the general Nexus Forum, or does it also include how many times people hit refresh?

It seemed to race to half a million and it slowed down some. I'm wondering if it's because so many of us simply sit in here and just hit F5.

I have a DInc right now and probably won't buy HTC again. Bad battery life, reboot power cycle debacle (I luckily got mine replaced out of warranty for free, but that's incredibly fortunate and rare), and I just don't see anything out of the Rezound that the Nexus doesn't have. It's thicker and bulkier, capacitive buttons, smaller battery, 2.3....

I was waiting to find out what the one in ICS would be. Thanks!

The real question is if the Rezound shipped with ICS would we even be here. ICS is the real star. Being that the rezound has a nice screen (nicer than the Nexus?) and comes with something cool (beats) it would seem to be just as good as the nexus. Except for ICS and unlocked bootloader.

I would be here. Beats does NOTHING for me. I don't use my phone for music so it would be a waste for me.

The Rezound does have a nice screen...nicer than the Nexus ? No way, 720p Amoled any day over 720 Super LCD.

Same here...I have the incredible and it's still doing ok for me ...so I'm kind of used to the whole red and black themed stuff. Plus I'm used to sense..and I know sooner or later I'll be able to put ICS on it....there are always lots of Devs for HTC devices.

I couldn't bring myself to go pick up another HTC phone. Super small battery, Sense is extremely resource heavy, random reboots, the keyboard STILL lags on their phones, etc.

Knowing that pure Google is right there without any skin or manufacturer interference involved....I couldn't bring myself to go with any Moto/HTC phone...(unless, of course, this DOES end up being delayed until December...then I will get a RAZR to cope until it is released).

Got my Dinc day 1 and it has been awesome. Had one switched out right at the end of warranty because of the speaker issue, but other than that it's been reliable, stable and plenty smooth.

I haven't been able to keep up with this thread or read it today because it's so damn popular haha.

But yea.. I've learned the best way to wait for the device now is to not read any more rumors since nobody has provided even close to accurate information or an official date. Not a bad thing - it is what it is.

I shall focus my energy on building my new beast rig PC! Send me a freagin deal newegg!
