Ok so I rooted my phone and installed fresh 1.1.

I turned on the HTC Hero by pressing the power button and volume button. (i was curious).

Then this menu came up that I never saw. So, I pressed the action button because that seemed like the least evasive. I forget the option's exact name. I then tried to start my phone but it came back to the same screen.

So, I figure take a nap and try again when I wake up. Same screen. I accidently pressed the option with the sim card (lock sim card?) Then it did its thing and asked me to restart. So I restarted and the phone started up ok. im testing all the functions as of now (internet, calls, msging)

Can someone please inform me what the hell did i do?!

You probably tried to download a file from your sim card. You were on the boot screen when you held down the power and volume buttons or at least thats how the incredible does it. If you dont know about its features then you need to read ..read..read . You should be ok... Good luck
