Well, I have an interesting story. Tonight I went into the Best Buy after watching the game to finally pick up Uncharted 3. Well, on a whim, I decided to check in at the mobile section...So I mentioned to the girl that I heard a strong rumor that the Gnex would be released on Mon. First, she immediately knew what I was talking about and sounded excited. I said I realize you can't say anything since its unannounced but its possible you could launch on Monday. She said we often have phones at launch. I said, so you could have it in the back now. She said that was a possibility, then started backtracking as another rep came over and he was looking not too happy...she said of course she couldn't say anything about the release because it was unannounced...I said thanks and proceded to the register to buy my game and left...Did she slip up..possibly! Anyway make of it what you will.

It's called being optimistic/joking. I don't have a nexus, but I'm hoping the verizon one comes on Monday.

I canceled my ebay purchased for the unlocked one. Just can't justify spending $800 and switching carriers when the verizon one should be here very soon.

Canadian carriers are starting to give pre-order dates, etc. Why can't Verizon have the courtesy, since they know there is a large, vocal group of us waiting, to give us a date...even for a pre-order?

On a side not just to share how stupid Verizon csrs are. I talked to one tonight on the phone regarding my wife's bionic and the dipshit told me it wasn't under warranty but I could use my upgrade to get another phone since we were having problems. I corrected him once and he was like sorry but it's not under warranty at that point I asked for a supervisor. The next person resolved my issue and is sending a new bionic to me for the bug ridden pile of poo bionic.

Or even just level with us. Be straight with the delay, if they can that is. If they were to admit it is marketing strategy, and that they are ready and sitting in a warehouse, yikes.

I used to go to MLGs back in 04, 05, 06, 07, and 08... those were the days. Amazing to see how big its gotten. I still have some friends that are Halo pros. Believe it or not Koush, the developer of ClockworkMod used to be an MLG pro.. his name? StK Clockwork. I went to a Halo 50k3 aka MLG Atlanta in 2004 and watched him play. Small world.

I wasnt so worried about flash... most apps arent quite ready for ICS yet...the delay could be a blessing in disguise =)

When ICS does hit and your apps aren't all ready, turn off Compatibility Mode using Spare Parts +, free in the Market.
