NFC sim cards and the rezound / google wallet

anyone have a guess as to whether or not the rezound will be able to utilize these when they are available? i'm torn between the nexus and rezound, and NFC is one of the things leaning me towards the nexus at this point...

To be honest i don't feel that the NFC thing is going to catch on anytime soon so that may be why some manufacturers are reluctant in putting the NFC Tech in their devices.

The only thing I wonder about NFC (other than wondering if AFC will be picked up by the iPhone or Windows Mobile) how long before it becomes a security issue where you have to run some sort of software to prevent people from lifting your information. I'd like to believe that it's going to be fraud proof, but I remember people saying that Credit Cards are secure and yet we find the information being lifted by skimmers. I'm not sure I'll hop on the NFC craze anytime soon.

More than 50% of all smartphones will be NFC enabled in 2-3 years

op here is an article of interest maybe just to kind of get a feel on how much longer before this would be a mainstream thing.

in 2-3 years i will have went through 2 more phones in that time so i'm sure i'll have a chance to get in on it when it is actually beneficial.
