I had bought it on black friday special as well. Should be delivered today. However big issue, they completely fubar'd our family plan. All I wanted to do was upgrade my phone, that's it. Our plan had grandfathered unlimited, and like anyone else I know with it (or reading online), you get your phone through whatever retailer and then just call AT&T back and they'll have grandfathered unlimited reactivated on the account. Since when your purchase there's no 'unlimited' anymore, and generally stores can mark down 'keep plan the same'....
So yesterday I get a text msg from AT&T saying we've used majority of our data plan?? I guess upon buying this phone on 11/23 they automatically switched to that new plan (200mb one). I didn't know it was going to change our whole fam plan right that instant, though it would be up receiving and activating the phone to which I would call AT&T and have them revert back the unlimited.
However there's something in sams clause, that says any change or anything to the "plan" will result in a $400 charge. And I remember in talking with them I explicitly mentioned this and they too said oh no prob a plan has to be selected for right now, then when you get your phone call at&t to have them switch back the unlimited plan you had previously.
