And with that, the CSR lines at verizon will start ringing non stop checking if they have word on the nexus...

Not sure about Verizon's world but in most call centers when the term "send the prompts out" is used or something to that effect you are referring to the phone system. Basically you are asking someone to add the prompt of pressing a certain number to preorder the Nexus to your Customer Service phone menu. Can't swear to it since we are dealing with Verizon but that should be it.

I rely on 5 hour energy as much as oxygen. Could just be placebo for all I know. Sometimes I feel it, sometimes I don't.

Haven't drank Rockstar since my Halo 3 multiplayer online all-nighters. Ah... those were the days.

I tried 5 hour once; I think it did something, but I couldn't be sure.

I once downed 3 or 4 Red Bulls for a long overnight drive from Juarez, Mexico to Denver, CO, and it did nothing for me. I thought I was going to crash, I was so tired.

When I read that I thought it meant send out the prompt to those that have signed up to pre-order.

FWIW (probably not much), but I talked to a friend of mine who works at a VZW corporate store (I know, I know), and yesterday his district manager and their Samsung rep informed his store that the Galaxy Nexus is launching no later than December 15th, but shooting for a December 8th launch. They weren't told anything about a possible preorder.

I really hesitated to post this because I know how most people around here view this sort of information, so grab your salt shaker if you must.

Cheers...

Salt is a must, but that doesn't make the smallest tidbit of info unwelcome. And when it corroborates the best known info, is nice to have.

5 hour energy works wonderfully for me. Tastes like total crap regardless of flavor, but it truly does work for me. Anytime I go on a long drive or on vacation I pick up a few just in case.

5 hour works pretty well for me to prevent me from feeling sleepy. Did an straight thru drive up and back to MN from GA last year, the nights were no problem for me with 5 hour. But god does it taste awful. Get it as cold as you can, and down it like a shot.

I use it for all my calls. I still have an Atlanta number as my primary number (for family and other VZW customers) and I give my Colorado GV number out to anyone I meet now. The Colorado number hits my phone just like any other call would and since I'm using an older version of GV I can route all outgoing calls to that one number and it goes through my F&F plan as a free call. Since we have unlimited text too, I have my GV text show up in the stock text app too. Anyone with my CO GV number doesn't know the difference.

There has got to be a thread on the intricacies and awesomeness that is GV. I've tried to get the hang of it..to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Developer friend of P3Droid, maybe a member of TBH... his info is older, he has been saying the 15th for almost a week.

Also P3Droid was saying the 15th as well, but he changed his tune yesterday... and now says the 8th.. I think the 8th is the more recent info.

Correct, the TBH guys (P3, PP, etc.) have been saying mid-late December and recently have changed to 12/8. Although, it seems PP still seems to think that the week of 12/12 which can mean 12/15 will be the actual release.

PydePypper just tweeted this:

Time will tell i guess. I just got an email today saying 8th is preOrder day NOT release day.

Again, until it comes straight from Verizon, it's all rumor.

EDIT: Aaahhh! Ninja'd by 1minute by Gandalf7!

I don't mind the berry flavor. Tastes like liquid Sprees. Incredibly sweet, but not unpleasant. But I can't stand lemon lime, orange, or pomegranate.

Is salt being used for traction? If so each grain adds value. To add my grain last night I got the same out of the Corp store. Samsung rep was there day before and 'eluded' to the 8th. Yes word eluded was used so if salt is for traction that may be worth only 1 grain.

Sounds like the 8th is the goal but maybe they are waiting for confirmation of this last update being solid and the 15th is the contingency just in case. My $.005.
