Good leather pouch for Verizon Galaxy Nexus?

I'm a pouch kind of guy, I hate putting phone in pockets. Anybody know of a pouch exactly like this eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices that fits the verizon galaxy nexus. I think top openings are better than the landscape opening. I know that listing says it does but I'd feel more confident buying from a real site.

Someone on XDA bought the same and said it fit their GNex perfectly. Still waiting for mine to arrive. The price is right.

From the looks of the link you posted I would bet that's a generic leather pouch, not one made for the GN. IMHO I would take your phone and check out some of the local shops first for just a generic pouch to see if you like it and it fits. If the price isn't right you should be able to find that exact one online somewhere.

hmm true, Maybe i can check out mall kiosks even though like you said it can be like $10 more. I was just about to buy one one on ebay. but read your post. thanks

That's the type of case I bought for my Incredible. The little neoprene sleeve is great if all you are worried about is protecting it in your pocket. I actually bought the one that came standard with the Nexus 1, which is very similar dimensions as the Incredible, so I suppose this is a similar situation as that sleeve is technically for the Galaxy SII.

Please let us know how well that one fits with the SGN once you're able to try it out. Mine actually saved the phone from a couple drops as well. It's nice and low profile for the pocket, and gives just enough padding if you do drop it when pulling it out.

Arent pouches made for nexus phones supposed to have a slight curve to it? because I tested the nexus in a large universal pouch and wow it looked very strange and sat weird in it.

That's why I suggested to the OP to go check some at any of the local stores. I feel like these sellers on eBay mark them as specific for devices when in fact they're just universal cases.

I am the OP of this thread lol. But so far verizon doesnt look like they are going to have any horizontal cases for the nexus. I even checked for any horizontal cases for phones equaly as tall and nothing. So Not sure Im going to have any luck finding one at any other verizon store.

I would check any mall kiosks if you have them where you live. You could also wait and keep checking the web. I bet they'll be many more out when Verizon releases the US GN.

I'm surprised I cant find any on the web now specific to the galaxy nexus since the phone is already out everywhere else.

Only about a month late on this but in case anyone stumbles across this, I purchased this case and my GNex fits fine in it. I had same make/model of case for my Dinc and LOVED it. The belt loops actually lasted unlike a cheap one I paid twice as much for at a mall kiosk.

Any case that is made for the HTC TITAN will fit the SGN nicely.

I am using the Verizon brand leather belt case that I had for my Droid X and it fits good enough for me. I am glad i checked the fit before I gave my X to a buddy to replace his failing Storm.

I'm also intending to check-out some kiosks for a generic holster. I got the Costco package, and the horizontal holster worked fine. However, the phone was just too slippery for me, so I put a Cruzerlight case on it, which I like a lot. Now, it's a tad too big for the holster. So, it's off to the mall.

Might be a crap shoot -- the case is listed as 5.07" wide -- my SNG, with the Cruzerlite, is 5.4". Thus, the need to actually have it in-hand.
