I get the Nexus love, I really do. I was afflicted with it from mid October until late November myself. But do yourself a favor and at least go to a store and check out a ReZound or Razr and ask yourself, honestly, " could THIS be my phone for the next twenty months?". You might be surprised by your own answer, especially where the HTC Device is concerned...

thought I almost had me a nexus today....

I walked into a corporate store and quietly asked on of the SA's if I could buy a nexus. She told me she new nothing about it and to come back. I told her that I knew they had some in stock and it should be out tomorrow because i'm all over the web. She smiled and jokingly asked if I was baiting her, she obviously knew what I was talking about. So I told her I just drove 2 hours because I live in the boonies and am switching from ATT as I showed her my POS SE K850I candybar. She must of felt bad for me because she said she would go try her manager. When she came back with a disappointed look I immediately knew the answer. She told me that right now there is now release date and that I didn't have to drive back 2hrs tomorrow.

Do the salesmen get any extra incentives when they switch someone over from ATT?
How long does porting take?

The Zound is nice, but after 20 months with my Dinc I am ready for a Sense free UI.

Lol I will be at the conant store at 9am, then over to the reseller on McCord, in spring meadows, then best buy, then radio shack. Figure I can hit everything I need in like 30 mins before work at 9:30

amazing how many NW Ohioans there are here. It's great to know its a small world. But don't buy MY Nexus... And if you have any luck, hold one for me. I'll be up from BG in like 20mins..

Ah - we have the black one in my shop, didn't know they had a white one. I don't know if they did, but I could see them doing that for CO only though. Don't bother going to VT...just stick to the Rockies and your real mountains Still waiting for the season to start out here sadly...and for my new set up to come in.

It was only sold here in CO I have #17 of 20 in the size I got. We haven't had a real good storm here yet.... between waiting for the Nex and real snow I'm loosing my mind

Chiming in with my VZ visit. Nothing big or new to add.

Two reps were waiting by the door. I asked about the GN. First guy immediately says with a poker face "no information." The 2nd guy couldn't hide a smile and said to check back tomorrow, almost hinting at something. Now I know they're one of the last to know, and I'm having very low expectations, but I'm swinging by tomorrow morning just in case.

I'm not buying the fact that Verizon is pushing off the Nexus in order to increase sales of the RZs anymore. I think at this point, if anything, it's hurting the sales of those phones that people are waiting for this one to come out. Who knows, someone waiting for the Nexus may have gone to the store a month ago if it were released then, played with the Nexus, and decided it wasn't for them and ended up going with a Razr. Let's face it, this phone isn't for everyone, where as the Razr and Rezound are geared for a more wide reaching audience.

Instead, Verizon is losing potential sales not only for the Nexus, but for those other phones as well once people can compare the 3 and find out what is really for them. It also seems like people have gotten so frustrated, that they are ditching Verizon entirely and leaving for ATT or another provider. Verizon needs to come to their senses and realize the smart business move would be to release this phone as soon as possible, so all the people holding on to their money waiting for this phone will come in and spend it on something.

I don't know if anyone saw this (I posted it a couple pages back), but the video camera on the Nexus looks pretty awful.

I am really hoping this can be fixed and is not hardware related:

I'm not sure if you realized this or not, but the user is rocking the phone back and forth. He's demonstrating that the camera has a stabilizer built in. The phone is trying to correct a shaky image.

IMHO, the flooding of Droid Razr adds means that the i515 release is imminent.

I've liked all Pentile displays so far (Bionic yes) I don't care for an SD Card, the Camera is poor but its not something i use often, and I don't care if there is a fancy name for placing files onto my phone as long as i can do it

It may work on Verizon (I don't know if it does though), but you'll be stuck with 3G. 4G/LTE won't work.

You meant to say...a Super Amoled HD screen (720)...has 32GB storage and USB is still readable with windows and with other OSs with a slight tweak...NOTHING you mentioned is a turn off...sorry you LOSE!!!
