For those of you how thought this phone was laggy at the store...

I went through 2 Vivids and switched to the Nitro. I'm only on my 3rd battery drain/recharge cycle but here are my thoughts so far in terms of comparison to the Vivid:
1. Battery drain does not appear to be that much worse
2. Battery charge time does not appear to be significantly different
3. There is definitely some lag, especially when compared to Vivid. I was FLYING switching apps/screens/etc on the Vivid, but am not near as fast on the LG.

I took my Vivid back because it kept crashing so thought why not give the "new kid" a spin...as well as pick up 30 extra days (returned Vivid to BB, bought Nitro from AT&T) to see how things play out (Nexus/Note available for sale, ICS news for Vivid and Nitro). I do like the screen better on the LG, but net net would consider switching back to the Vivid if nothing else moves as I'm an ADHD kinda guy and the lag on the LG is a bit annoying. Hopefully it goes away, and sounds like a SuperOneClick/hard reset combo maybe offer some resolve. Will post back once I've played around more.

Unfortunately this was my experience as well. I had two days before my thirty days were up on my Vivid. The only difference is my vivid has not crashed once on me yet. I got to the at&t store right when they opened on the 4th with my vivid the box and everything it came with fully expecting to return with the nitro. Unfortunately three at&t stores later and with my return window now exceeded I just couldn't find a nitro that didn't lag. I even tested the in-store divides to see if they were exhibiting more lag than mine but they were not. I have been waiting for the nitro since it was announced on Korea so I will probably give it one more look anyway.

The in store phones will always have lag due to all the apps going on it the background from customers trying it out. Plus those phones are rarely get a reset.

Exactly. I have found the best way to test the in store phones is to walk up, turn it off, turn it back on, back out of whatever demo they have loaded to the phone, then play :D
