Yes, a weather app, but I deleted it thinking that may have been the problem

One way to test to see if you solved the problem is to turn off your phone, then turn it back on. Put it to sleep for 5 minutes or so. Then wake it up and check your awake time. If it's 100% (or extremely high), you haven't fixed the problem. If it's back down under 20%, problem solved.

I have had both the Weatherbug & Weather Channel apps. Weatherbug kept my phone awake, however, the most recent update should have fixed that.

I currently use the Weather Channel app and even have it follow my location without any problems. I do not allow the weather apps to use GPS, however.

I hope the update fixes this. My wife uses her droid all the time and for business at work and she still has 40% of her battery left. She took my eris one day and said she likes sense but she fully charged and drained it 2 times in a 8 hour work period.

Wow. That definitely would not be acceptable. Does your wife get a strong signal on the Eris at work?

I've taken mine with me to work (in a school) and I get at best, 1 bar. My phone is dead in about 4 hours. If I have 3-4 bars (like at home) I can go almost two days with 3g on.
