Root 5.5.893 OTA Pushed to Root-ed 5.5.886

I am not root-ed. I am still trying to discover the non-technical implications of root-ing.

1. Did any of you who were root-ed under 5.5.886 receive the automatic update notice that said 5.5.893 was available?

2. If you did not get the automatic notice, did you try the query through Settings | About phone | System updates? Did it work?

3. Did you end up installing the 5.5.886 to 5.5.893 leak?

1. No, but it might have if I was more patient and gave it more time to send the automatic update notice to me.

2. Yes. As soon as I saw on the forums that it was officially being pushed to people. I started to query through the "system updates" menu by checking every half hour, and after about 1.5 hrs it finally said "update available" instead of "your phone is up to date." Yes, it worked (after I reverted to the original swype.apk that I had uninstalled / changed).

3. No. I never installed any leaks b/c I want to make sure i stayed on the official OTA upgrade path.
