Can You Handle the Size?

As a prospective buyer who carries his phone in a normal-sized pants pocket (currently an HTC Desire with a 3.8" screen), are you finding the Nexus to really feel too large either in your pocket or when using it? This seems to be a common reviewer complaint.

How much of an issue has it been for you so far?

I went from a dinc to the nexus. Yes, it is bigger, but honestly it doesn't FEEL that much bigger. In the pocket, it's so thin that it doesn't feel like I've got a brick in my pocket or anything.

Holding it is fine with two hands. I don't have huge hands, so holding it with one hand (especially with the slick back) is sketchy, but I have no issues when holding it in two hands.

I upgraded to the GN from an Eris and I was a little apprehensive about doing so because of the size factor. I never thought I would want a phone this big, but after having it for almost a week now it doesn't seem nearly as big as when I first got it. It does fit in my pocket nicely and feels good in my hand. It is a little daunting at first but you get used to it.
Beautiful phone working great for me, I wouldn't let the size scare you off.

Lord, I saw the thread title and had to check out what party was going on in here ;):p
On topic, I first came from an OG Droid (about the same as the Desire) to the Bionic and it took quite a bit getting used to. The Nexus is a touch larger but fits perfectly in the hand (again, TWSS if you will). Certainly something to check out in stores, spend a few minutes with it and see if you like it. I love it!

Eris->Dinc->Gnex here. I always hated big phones, but I bought the first one off size, so I'm dealing with it. Yes, it is too big, Yes you get used to it.(My Dinc feels tiny now)

Right now and for the forseeable future it will be a choice between a huge phone or a underpowered/outdated one. BTW, anyone notice the Samsung Illusion is like the Nexus minime curved screen and all? It's actually a very nice sized phone, too bad it is already out of date.

Doesn't feel that big to me....but I can also span 11 keys on a piano. Coming from the Incredible this is a welcome adjustment. Fits in my pocket just fine too.

I find it amusing that one of the first things an apple fanboy says about the phone is that the screen is too big...as if to sadly justify the i*hone screen being what it is.

The nexus is 10x more comfortable and less revealing in the pocket compared to the firts two droids. holding isnt too much of an issue, i dont have an issue reaching the notification pull down with one hand...i'm 6'1" and can palm a basketball if that helps?

i do get worried though walking in a crowd in manhattan and getting bumped because like someone else mentioned the nexus still feels a little slick when holding it in one hand.
