Help crappy microphone?

Went to a new years party and took a few short videos of the dance with loud texhno and dance music playing. My friend with an iphone 4 took tje same videos. When i went to watch it afain on my nexus the aound was crappy and distorted beyond comprehension. The iphone took great video amd thw sound quality was spectacular. Is the mic not good or is it the shitty speakers that this phomw jas?

Probably the speakers. I haven't noticed any problems with mic quality, but I have noticed that my speakers sound muffled and quiet. All I can suggest is to try listening with headphones and see which sounds better.

I have recorded several videos on my Nexus and I have had very good results.
