Root Newly Rooted...backed up and no apps

I rooted my HTC EVO 4g today and backed up all my data/apps with MyBackUp Pro and after completing my root and flashing the Fresh ROM I have all my contacts but none of my apps are there....I had a decent amount of paid apps and wanted to figure out how to get them back without paying again. Thanks!
welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you need to download mybackup pro and then restore your apps with mybackup pro.

if you paid for them, theyre saved to your google account you bought them on..sign in that gmail account and you can download them off the market.

Howdy! Do you save your contacts to google or to your phone? It is a setting in there somewhere, not sure where.

I have always synched them to google and I get them back when I sign in after flashing a rom.

On Mik3.0, in people, it gives the option to export your contacts to the sd card. I just did that, as well.

Dang you guys are helpful! Got it all sorted it out and realized I need to start syncing my stuff to google. Wife liked my phone so much we're rooting hers/flashing Fresh in as we speak. Looking for a good kernel...I was thinking ChopSuey but don't know too much about these....if I do that I'd have Fresh as the ROM, ChopSuey as the kernel...what else should I look into?
