Help How to Get Caller ID as Facebook Profile Pic?

Recently moved to the Galaxy S2, and my wife and I are trying to figure out how to get our caller IDs to show our friends' Facebook profile pics. I know that we did this with our old HTC Heroes pretty easily (Android 2.0 and 2.1), but can't figure out how to get it to work with 2.3 without importing ALL of our Facebook peeps into the new phone. We've done the 'sync' option in Facebook, but that seemed to do nothing. Can anyone help?

When you first get the phone or do a factory hard reset it will ask you to sync your gmail account and Facebook account...When I set them up you go to Menu...Settings...Accounts and Sync...Manage Accounts...Sync your Facebook Account...Go back to your Contacts...If they are a Gmail and Facebook Contact it will show both...Sometimes only the email addy will show up in the gmail account if you don't have their phone number...I have backround data and auto sync checked...Mine didn't come up the first time... then I manually Synced the Facebook Account again and all the pics for the FB Contacts showed in my Phone Contacts...But I did do it twice...With my EVO never had that problem...

Thanks, Ronny71. I did that a couple of times when I got my phone, but it didn't seem to do anything. Just for kicks, I did it again, and it looks like some pics have now loaded, but not all (not nearly all!). I suppose I'll just re-sync a few times and see if that captures them all...

Yep...thats what happened to me too...After a couple of times syncing they all came back...

Also if you go to settings/accounts and delete the facebook account and resign in it helps with this problem.

If I sync all my Facebook people to my phone, won't ALL of them appear in my contact list? I want the pictures, but I don't want all 256 people in my phone. Can I put them in a different category somehow (on my phone) so they I don't have to shuffle through 256 FB friends to find my dearest friends?
