Step 2 when unlocking the bootloader says

2. You have the proper HTC Drivers and HTC Sync installed

When I rooted my Dinc the process called for me to remove HTC Sync from my PC, which I did.

Do I have to reinstall this on my PC for the Rezound process to unlock the bootloader?

It looks like I do from reading this step, but I just wanted to ask here first.

1. When unlocking the bootloader you need HTC installed.

2. When you go to root uninstall HTC sync, (I did), the drivers you need will still be there.

Actually the only reason you need sync installed is for the drivers. So as long as you install sync and uninstall it the drivers should remain and you should be good. I used the HTC USB drivers that were posted on XDA dnd didn't have a single problem.

Its really weird bcuz after seeing all the posts abt uninstalling htc sync I didnt have too! I removed the HTC Sync loader from starting up when windows started and then rebooted my computer so it wouldnt be running. This worked fine for me, and maybe it will help someone else!

We always suggest uninstalling but you can just kill/stop it as well...same diff. Point is that it can't be running.
