Root Rooted battery life, how is it

For all of you that have rooted your Rezound how has your battery life been stacking up? I had the OG droid and when rooted some ROM's killed my battery life and others were great. There were some big differences between several ROM's where as using one ROM the phone would die with 14hrs with normal use while another ROM is took 2+days almost. I get a full day out of my non-rooted rezound now so hopefully it won't be a huge downfall to rooting and losing battery life. I would think battery life should improve with all the bloat removed but would like to hear first hand from Rooted Rezound users if possible. I know with my OG the best ROm I used was a Project elite

Hopefully this isn't posted in the wrong area, if so please put wherever needed.

Thanks

How many ROMS have you tried? I know ROM's are still new for the rezound so maybe there aren't many differences going on between majority of them.

I just flashed my first ROM. Scott's Senseless and have yet to go a full day yet so I can't say what the difference is. Although I've rebooted my phone about 10 times today playing with boot animations so that can't be doing me any good.

If you can please post results on battery life and connection if possible. I know I have had issues with wifi and 3G connecting in a timely manner when using some different roms. Some tend to lag a lot more than others in that area.

I'm in the Philadelphia / South Jersey area and my 4G rocks 4 bars at work and full at home. Wifi connected without me even noticing(that fast). Battery life I'll edit in later.

The lag stems from the stock UI with this phone where if I unlock my screen sometimes it takes a while for it to link up to 3G, 4G or wi-fi. I am hoping that rooting with a customer ROM will solve this. I am in Phoenix and have good coverage but there is lag when basically opening up the main screen. I am also originally from Philadelphia and it was the same when I was home for the holidays. Its not the strength of the signal its the constant hesitation sometimes when first going into the phone after its been just sitting.

Do you have a power option that shuts off data when your phone sleeps? Because I don't, and I don't have this problem. My phone runs performance mode 24/7 and always has.
