They DON'T CARE. They already Suckered us with the Whole GED Marketing Hype BS. They have OUR Money, so there is NO hurry on their part to get OUR "Special Magical GED Xoom's ICS
I already sent them a note complaining about no ICS. But I did not threaten them with moving to a different device. When I am ready to fork out hundreds of dollars again I'll go back through the landscape again and pick the current best available, like I always do. If that's Motorola then I'll go with them. Plus my threat would have been hollow a I am not close to needing one. As fun as it would be to have ICS my Xoom is perfectly fine with HC.
I would rather make sure I have the best hardware first because you can always put in a little work rooting and finding new software.
It's only for the XOOM Experience people who are on Wifi Only XOOMs right now...I hope they release it for the 3g/lte models too as that's what I have even though I don't use the mobile data at all just wifi....help out your early adopters Moto!
I very much hope that an international corporate player, which Motorola purports to be, will keep a beady eye on these forums. Well, if they don't or they can't afford a small department of a couple of people for this task, or indeed, if they haven't even thought of it, then we all should really get worried.

Few tips. Count to three after seeing the Motor Bat Wings then press the down volume.
Make sure you have the right cable.
Once you get to the Android Robot, press the up arrow and power at the sametime to get the menu to come up.
So far I've only found one issue, thus far, with the IML77 update on my Xoom. I installed the update and let the Xoom settle for about 5 minutes before trying to use it. What I found is that the Xoom was rather sluggish following the upgrade. I rebooted into Android Recovery wiped the cache partition. Upon rebooting the Xoom this seems to have resolved the sluggishness.
In the new contact app, when I tried to use Gallery to select a picture for a contact, it FC'd. I was able to re-create this error at will. I clicked the report button to notify Google but I don't think it'll be corrected before the final update is delivered to the Xoom.
This appears to only work/update if you have the OTG cable and put the update on a flash drive. I tried putting it on my sd card but while in the recovery menu it does not recognize the sd card. It does not even have the option of taking it from internal memory.
I just ordered a OTG cable from amazon so I can try this later this week. I was planning on ordering one of these cables anyway so all this did was hasten my purchase.
it is possible to do with out a OTG cable you need to use fast boot. I updated my UK xoom with the us ICS seems to work fine just flash seems to throw a wobble on anything but stock browser and thats not 100% stable went back to honeycomb again now.
