Confirmed 2/19/12 release @ $299 on contract. Pre orders begin 2/5 those that preorder will receive the phone on 2/17.

Completely guessing here...$299 w/contract (maybe $350??)

As for release..I posted a while back that my source was hearing by the end of January...Online rumors target Valentines day.

Bgr claims to have a leaked roadmap, but has not posted it $299 price releasing on the 18th (a saturday.

Past road maps have been off by as much as 4 weeks, and releases typically come on a Sunday. I will see what my sammy guy has to say.

Someone on another thread mentioned AT&T doesn't typically release phones on days other than Sunday which Valentines Day isn't. Looking at the past few releases, that would seem about right. And I'm guessing it will be $249. Verizon does the whole $300 thing.

Glad this is coming to Verizon I've been looking to ditch my EVO that I use for work and also buy a smaller LTE Tablet with the Note I'll be able to do both and save the money on not only hardware but also in service. I think it's going to go great with my Nexus ... I hope its' out before the end of February as that was the month I was planning on doing all of this

Not yet but looks like we may have word from ATT soon

I have a feeling it might be before the 18th.I can guess a press release is happening very soon. Whether thats pre-order/release date. Cause samsung and att have been acting funny.

(interestingly they only said the carbon blue one is available as a color ) hoping white is going to come out with it

So giving those three things... I would say by the end of monday some sort of announcement is going to be made. I.E. Release/Pre-order/Release Day information.

The 18th is a somewhat good date..it is the date that att wants them in store at the latest

so ..could be next sunday, could be the weekend after the 18th

You can do what's called an early upgrade, I've done it while only being 8 months into my contract (my phone was giving me terrible issues and I just ditched it for something better).

The manager waved the early upgrade fee and gave me the phone for the 2 year contract price plus maybe like $40.

Ask them about doing that, they usually let you.
