I currently have Helio, my contract is up august 24th so im in the market for a new phone and carrier. I tried the G1 for a week when it first came out and like it other than the fact it didnt have a flash for the camera and didnt have a video camera.

That being said, i want an android phone that has the full keyboard, flash and a video. Are there any phone out there that match what i want?

Help me out guys
thanks

now im thinking about just getting metro pcs or one of those no contract phones until some of these android phones come out. It seems like hopefully by christmastime they will come out with some new android phones. I dont want to get the G1 then a month down the road a new android comes out. What do you guys think? Think some androids will come out christmastimeish?

That all depends on if you prefer the physical keyboard as I do.... The phones that are to be released and confirmed do not have the physical keyboards and for me that is a deal breaker....

im with you 100%. I loved the G1 except for the flash and video camera that it didnt have. If only it had those 2 small things that seem to be on EVERY phone out there now itd be a perfect phone for me.

Is there any time line when an android phone will come out with a physical keyboard? Though i am looking at the mytouch and starting to like it, but again it has no flash

Can't the video camera be solved with a software update? Also flashes on camera phones are not powerful usually for anything beyond a couple ft, otherwise they would take too much battery power. It's better to take natural light photos, or to light your subjects with other lights, or even brighten things in a photo editor afterwards.
