Root Insufficient storage available

I am experiencing an "Insufficient storage available" error message whenever attempting to install some apps from the Market.

This issue is really frustrating, especially as I have just recently rooted/flashed my HTC Desire GSM from stock, all because I was running out of memory, and hence kept having to uninstall multiple apps' updates!

I've uninstalled the Market app updates, and have just tried to install Adobe Flash Player from the Market (4.48Mb) whilst having Internal Storage of 11Mb available (after emptying my Dalvik cache).

What is going on? How can I resolve this!?!

Ok so use the a2sd+ version and it will use your SD partition.

Or, flash an alternative HBOOT (Data++) but currently you are saving no space.

The issue is google. Your andriod device is programmed for market. All the coding is arranged for market in the source code. Now that google created google play and forced you to add it your device it is running under the old version and source code (program), but there is not a new source code to fix this issue until it is released. Therefore, you may end up finding yourself paying again for games you previous purchased or even three times. I haveno clue when or how to fix this issue, because google is staying quiet about it to the public. Anyhow, best advice I can tell you is to take it to your Service Provider if you have one and see if they have the fix or else return it.

Actually, This thread is for "insuffecient storage". And I find it humorous that you are trying to change the subject. He never mentioned he flashed his device.

My 2 years of experience here and the fact that I resolved the issue tells me you haven't read any of the posts, so please, before you post irrelevant information, read the thread you are posting in.

If someone points out that this is the wrong information, BEFORE being cheeky, again READ THE THREAD!

Your information is irrelevant in this thread as it has nothing to do with the symptoms, the root cause or the resolution. The issue had been resolved before you posted
