Help New Samsung Galaxy Nexus - need help

hi, just bought a new galaxy nexus (yakjuux with android 4.0.1)

i was just going through lots of forums and believe that yakj is owned by google and mine is by samsung. just few questions,
. with current configuration, when it is expected that i will get an update to 4.0.2 / 03 or even 4.
. is there any schedule by google or samsung which can give fair idea about the time lines?
. how to check if phone is rooted or not rooted?

Depends on your carrier. If you root, 4.0.4 is available now.
